  10.        This chapter lists information that is supplemental to the
  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e and the
  12.        installation instructions in the _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m
  13.        _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e.  The information listed here is
  14.        product-specific; use it with either of these guides to
  15.        install this product.

  17.        2.1  _m_o_t_i_f___e_o_e__S_u_b_s_y_s_t_e_m_s

  19.        The motif_eoe product includes these subsystems:

  21.        _m_o_t_i_f__e_o_e._m_a_n._e_o_e             Preformatted reference manual
  22.                                      pages.  This subsystem is
  23.                                      intended to be installed on
  24.                                      machines that _d_o _n_o_t have the
  25.                                      _n_r_o_f_f text formatting program.
  26.                                      There is no need to install
  27.                                      this subsystem if you install
  28.                                      _m_o_t_i_f__e_o_e._m_a_n._e_o_e_m_a_n_s_r_c.

  30.        _m_o_t_i_f__e_o_e._m_a_n._e_o_e_m_a_n_s_r_c       Source for the reference
  31.                                      manual pages.  This subsystem
  32.                                      is intended to be installed on
  33.                                      machines that _d_o have the
  34.                                      _n_r_o_f_f text formatting program.
  35.                                      This subsystem displays better

  87.        Environment can be installed using IRIX.  You do not need to
  88.        use the miniroot. Refer to the _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n
  89.        _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e or the installation instructions in
  90.        the _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for complete
  91.        installation instructions.

  93.        2.3  _m_o_t_i_f___e_o_e__S_u_b_s_y_s_t_e_m__D_i_s_k__S_p_a_c_e__R_e_q_u_i_r_e_m_e_n_t_s

  95.        This section lists the subsystems of the _m_o_t_i_f__e_o_e software,
  96.        along with their sizes and whether they are installed by
  97.        default.  You can use the software installation instructions
  98.        in the _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e to install this
  99.        product.  If you are installing this software for the first
  100.        time, the default subsystems are installed if you click the
  101.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l _A_u_t_o_m_a_t_i_c_a_l_l_y button.  To install a different set of
  102.        subsystems, click the _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button and make
  103.        your new selections.  Then click the _S_t_a_r_t button to launch
  104.        the installation.

  143.        1.2.4/2.1.10-6.5.2m IRIX/Motif.  Use of _i_m_a_k_e requires IRIX

  149.             provided with 4D-4.0.5, is included with IRIX 5.  That
  150.             means old Motif binary applications can run unchanged.
  151.             Such applications get neither the bug fixes nor the new
  152.             features that are provided with the new library.

  165.             this file to your own home directory and renaming it
  166.             ._m_w_m_r_c.  If you do that, your settings replace the
  167.             system settings when you run _m_w_m.

  170.             system-wide _m_w_m settings for the Motif 2.1 Window

  183.             resource settings.
